Description:
Recent technological advances have allowed the
development of robust and rapid response  instrumentation
with high sensitivity which can be deployed on a variety
of platforms. Air quality measurements from a mobile
platform offer the potential to more readily identify sources
and to measure pollutants' concentrations under actual
conditions.
The mobile laboratory endowed within the framework
of the AERLAB project with new generation ambiental air
SO2, O3, NO, NO2, NOx, CO and PM10 measurement
equipment, allows the named pollutants quantification in every
location accesibile by vehicles. This mobility ensures the posibility
of pollutants' concentrations monitoring and measurement in areas
uncovered by stationary monitoring stations.
